Your data is for running the service, not selling you.

Information we may hold

• Account information such as your email address and username.
• Profile information you choose to provide, such as magic interests, experience and approximate location.
• Problem reports, enquiries and other information you deliberately send to us.
• Technical information needed to operate and secure the site, such as request logs, device/browser information and authentication/session data.
• Aggregate marketplace activity such as submitted search terms, whether a search returned in-stock products, and retailer links followed from Magic Marketplace. This commercial intelligence is not stored with your member identity or raw IP address.

Why we use it

We use information to provide member features, authenticate accounts, maintain security, investigate problems, respond to enquiries, improve the service, understand marketplace demand and measure whether site features and retailer coverage are working as intended.

We do not sell identifiable personal data to retailers, advertisers or other third parties. Retailer-facing market intelligence is aggregated and is designed to show demand, stock gaps, pricing and click activity rather than identify individual visitors.

Cookies and sessions

Magic Marketplace uses technical session/authentication storage where required to keep signed-in users securely logged in and to operate account features. Optional preference or analytics storage stays off unless you choose to allow it. See the Cookies page for the current categories and controls.

Service providers and external sites

The site relies on specialist infrastructure providers to host the application, authenticate users, store data and deliver email. Those providers process information only as needed to provide their services.

When you follow a retailer, advertiser or other external link, you leave Magic Marketplace and that organisation's own privacy policy applies.
